A2 Design Solutions was founded in 2011 by Andy and Alicia Crymes, the two A's behind the name. What started as a passion project helping family and close friends transform their spaces has grown into one of southern Chester County's most trusted home remodeling companies.
Andy brings years of hands-on experience in construction and project management to every job. He started as an apprentice, worked his way up through the trades, and built a deep understanding of what it takes to do the work right, not just quickly. That foundation shapes everything A2 does today.
Alicia keeps everything running behind the scenes, managing operations, coordinating schedules, and making sure every client has a smooth experience from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
Together they've built a company that's as invested in the community as it is in the craftsmanship. Andy and Alicia are raising their family right here in southern Chester County, and the homeowners they serve are their neighbors. That's not something they take lightly. I've spent my career in the construction and remodeling world — starting as an apprentice, working my way through the trades, and eventually running projects as a project manager. When Alicia and I started A2 in 2011, we wanted to build something different — a contracting company that puts communication and craftsmanship first, every single time. My passion comes from working directly with homeowners and helping them realize their home's full potential.

My role has evolved over the years. Currently I spend most of my time keeping things running behind the scenes, managing the office, and making sure every client has a smooth experience. But I still get a front row seat to the transformations, and after all these years it never gets old. Seeing how a well-executed renovation improves how a family lives in their home — that's what A2 has always been about.
